Just our recap of Halloween. Ashlynn was ready from the moment she woke up. I had purposely hid her Rapunzel dress so she wouldn't be over it by the time Halloween arrived and not want to wear it. She found it in the sunroom (my craft room) a few days before Halloween and was so stoked. I told her she couldn't wear it until Trick or Treat and she thankfully didn't throw a fit. I brought it out the night before and she put it on first thing in the morning.
Dad got home from work early and I tried to feed the kids early. We went outside around 5 for some pictures and to get the wagon out. We took a stroll around the neighborhood while everyone prepared, and then hit a few of the neighbors. At 6:15 Kenley had had enough. She kept throwing off her hats (I had to keep a regular beanie on under her costume so she wouldn't notice it) and was getting pretty cold. I took her back to warm up and get ready for bed and hand out some candy. A went around to a few more houses with dad before asking to come back herself. We had plans to keep her up a bit later and help hand out candy, but she actually requested to go to bed.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. It's not my favorite holiday, but seeing the joy it brings children is enough for me. I can't wait to get more into it as the girls grow.
Now, who's ready to pass the turkey?!
