Clean and Serene Master Bedroom

Our bedroom is finally coming together.  Our headboard arrived last week and our duvet cover came yesterday.  We need to pick up some curtain panels, hardware, and blinds and decide on lamps. Hang up some art and we'll be done!

I had put together a loose style board for inspiration for a planning phase since shopping can be overwhelming sticking to a style when there are so many home decor shops and items out there.  It's easy to get pulled into a style you weren't originally intending, which has happened in the past.

We aren't buying these exact items, but the mood of the room to be crisp and clean with soft light colors and a serene feeling with the incorporation of ink blues.  Evoking the feeling of the ocean with out being beachy themed, something I've over done in my youth.  Of course, white and blues are what I'm drawn to, I'm just hoping to make it a bit more sophisticated.

I'll hopefully get some in progress shots to share while we continue to put it together.  How would you name your "design style"?

  1. Can't wait to see progress pics! I love those curtains!!

  2. I love the color theme for your bedroom. It makes the space look light yet warm/comforting. Happy Wednesday, Erinn :)

  3. They are from PBTeen! They'd actually be super easy to DIY. I think I'm just going to buy plain white panels and if I get bored or feel like the room needs more, just add some grosgrain trim :)

  4. I am loving this look! Can't wait to see it.

  5. Now come design ours. We have dressers picked and exactly zero to go with them...

I love this! Can't wait to see it done!

  6. GORG. I love this! Great colors - very relaxing and refreshing. I can't wait to see how this all turns out. You have impeccable taste!
