Hi, I'm Amanda! I blog over at Kids and Cabernet. I blog about my kids, favorite wine finds, decorating, and basically anything that comes to mind. I started blogging in August of this year and quickly became a fan of Erinn's blog and her Girl Mom Series.
From the moment I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted a daughter. I grew up with it just being my mom, my sister and I; we were all so close and had such a bond and I wanted to have a daughter so I could share that same bond with her too. Luckily, I got my wish and gave birth to the most beautiful little girl I could ever imagined!
I've love every moment of watching her grow up. I'm having a blast seeing her turn into a young lady and getting to know her. Elyse is caring, funny, sassy, quick mined, and smart! Now that she's able to communicate so well, she's constantly telling us that she loves us, drawing us pictures and always wants to match what we're wearing. She is a total girly-girl like her mom she loves clothes, tea parties, doing her hair, playing with makeup (and surprisingly she does a great job applying it haha) and everything about princesses. She's also a wonderful big sister to her brother. She's always hugging, kissing and holding his hand and making sure that he's ok.
Thank you Erinn for having me!
She's so sweet!! I love that she's an awesome big sis... And I'll bet she's better at putting on make up than I am ;)!
ReplyDeleteWhat a little cutie! Thanks for sharing your little girl with us. I'm hoping that my daughter loves tea parties too!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And too funny about the makeup :) it's crazy that she actually does a semi-decent job!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I'm sure your daughter will, I haven't met a little girl yet that doesn't love a tea party!
ReplyDeleteLove! I have a daughter (18 months) with another on the way. Being a sister myself I was so happy to find out I will get to parent TWO little girls! Thrilled is an understatement. I cannot wait to share tea parties and dress up with my girls. I am happy you got to experience it with your sweet daughter. LOVE HER NAME. It is in the running for our second daughter.
ReplyDeleteAwww adorable! Little girls are so much fun!
