[Child Style] Summer to Fall

Back in the early summer I was contacted by Joules, a clothing boutique big in the UK and known mainly for their wellies.  They recently expanded to the US, and were hoping to send Ashlynn some of their summer collection to see what she (and I) thought of the brand.

bow | jacket | dress | leggings

Unfortunately, our literal LITTLE MISS, was too little to fit in the 12-18month sizes I requested, but I was impressed with the quality of the clothing.  When browsing their catalogs, I definitely see similar styling and quality to other popular British brand, Boden - intarsia sweaters, heavy knits, bright colors, and preppy looks.   Definitely things I gravitate towards myself!

You can learn more about Joules here and check out their full range of girl's clothing, too!

We were sent a darling dress, matching one piece romper, bucket hat, and adorable polo, complete with a horsey (cue 'neiiigghhh' on repeat).   So while our items are perfect for summer, they also transitioned easily for fall weather now that she's fitting in them better.

The polo is a nice thick knit and would be cute for winter with a cardigan over or even layered over a longsleeve tee - a favorite look of both mommy and daddy (nothing like holding on to how you dressed in 8th grade!)

While the dress was too long during the summer months, but I was able to make it work for fall with some leggings and her little jean jacket.  Add some Uggs or Moccs and were ready to go!

While Ashlynn does hit lower percentages on the charts (25-30% height and 50% weight), I did find the sizes to run a little large in comparison to those we usually buy - BabyGap and Old Navy.  Outside of sizing, we were really happy with the clothing and will definitely add Joules to our list of options when shopping for the little ladies in the future!

Happy Friday, Friends!
