After a year of having Ashlynn's check-ins fall on Wednesday, I can finally bring back the original Wednesday theme post, my wishlists! Usually my 'wishlists' consist of my favorite finds from recent online window shopping jaunts, but today I'll stick with some not so subtle hints for the Husband - since we all know he's shopping last minute.

Mommy and Mini Toms would be perfect. My current pair are beat up and they are an easy summer shoe that make chasing little ones on the playground a breeze. And naturally, we both have to have a pair!
I love shopping at Anthropologie because of their clothes, jewelry, and home goods, but the atmosphere of the store definitely makes the experience. I wouldn't mind having my house smell like the store with a Capri Blue candle.
I'm always looking for comfortable (and washable) tops for my day to day. I try to look somewhat put together when out running errands, but "put together" in my book means no pjs and no sweats.
Breakfast tray! This is the gift that keeps on giving... of course it should presented with breakfast in bed (Baked French Toast bottom right, recipe here) year after year. Also, bonus gift for the Husband as I can use when I eat on the couch... something he hates that I do. #sorryimnotsorry
This is a stretch, but Photoshop Elements. I'd love to learn and start using Photoshop to take my pictures from meh to 'mazing.
Throw blanket. This is actually a dualy too since it's a baby throw from Land of Nod. I always snuggle on the couch after A goes to bed and my current throw is faux fur, a bit heavy for the summer months. This lightweight cotton/viscose blend would be great for cool summer nights.
The Honest Life. As a subscriber to Honest Company goods and a Jessica Alba convert (I wasn't a fan until she started the company), I'm super interested in learning more about her experience and seeing the green alternatives she has to offer.
What's your Mother's Day request this year? What are you getting your Momma's??
Love that breakfast tray!! How wonderful breakfast in bed would be!!

That's what I'm thinking! Of course the gift is only good if it comes with breakfast, coffee, and a sweet Mother's Day card... am i right?
DeleteI just sent in for the trial of the Honest Company diapers after deciding to stop on the cloth (just found myself always grabbing for the disposable). Are you using those and how do you like them so far?
ReplyDeleteI was using them before A fit into cloth, then cancelled that part of my membership and stuck with their products. I love their shampoo, bubble bath, healing balm, hand soap, you name it! When I went back to using disposables I just starting ordering Seventh Generation from diapers.com. I love that I can place an order when I hit the last bag and it's here in time (free 2 day shipping) for when I run out. I didn't have any issues with the Honest Company diapers and I think they are super cute. A friend did say she noticed they weren't as absorbant as other brands as her child got older and became a heavier wetter. We didn't use them long enough to find out.
DeleteThanks for the input! I haven't heard too many good reviews on the 7th Gen, but I love their cleaning products. I have tried any of the Honest household items, but I'd love to. We have about a million wipes left and that's the only thing holding me back from the Honest Bundle. Wish there was a diaper only option!
DeleteLove your list!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Natasha!
DeleteI'm thinking about trying the honest company products but am having trouble committing. Do you like them? thinking more the products, not the diapers or wipes. I want some baby friendly cleaning products. Any suggestions? :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing is that you aren't committed to buying every month, you can push your purchase back as many times as you need. We actually just got our first order in months (I put it on hold because we moved). The only cleaning supply I was less than thrilled with was the dishwasher detergent. I used their laundry detergent for A's clothes for months, and I still use their hand soap, all purpose spray (highchair and counters), and shampoo/bodywash daily. I love that they constantly add new products too, a company looking to make their customers happy!
DeleteOh that is so good to know! I was worried I would have to purchase every month even if I didn't need anything. Thanks for the help!!
Deletei made my mom and mil a book from shutterfly! it was free!

Photobooks are always a great gift, I've been known to rely on the photo mug and some starbucks more often than I should!
Deletegreat list! i'll have to nudge M over here if he's less than thrilled with my selections. :)
