[Wednesday's Weekly Check-In] Week 33

Weight:  18+

Health:
Last Wednesday and Thursday she started having a dry cough, I was afraid she was coming down with a cold.  By Friday, I had a sore throat.  A seemed better and still is.  I on the other hand came down with a light version of a cold - one day scratchy throat, next day sore, next day stuffy nose, and now I'm just in the "getting over it" phase.

Sleep:
hit or miss.  Some nights she great, others she wakes up at 4:30 am wide awake blowing raspberries and giving slobber kisses.

Won't lie.  It's sorta worth it.

Clothes:
6-12

Social:
Ashlynn met Santa Claus!  It's was serious business.

Ashlynn's not impressed...

Seriously, I thought she was going to cry.  She cries almost all the time when I walk away from her, but  I don't think she saw his face over the fur on his coat and beard.  She wouldn't crack a smile, but I'll take the serious face over the potential meltdown.

Diet:
Added mango, not crazy about it unless mixed with carrots.  She still gobbling up green beans like they're chocolate and I made this recipe which she's a little unsure of.

Baby Gear Love:
Who needs gear when you got one of these??

Crying:
Same old... over tired.  Sometimes gets tantrum-y when frustrated and is starting to hate diaper changes too.

Mommy (and Daddy):
Had the inspection on the house we are buying, some MAJOR repairs are needed, but we are going to go through with it as it's all routine.  Yay!  Countdown is on!

Milestones:
Well, in addition to meeting Santa, starting to give "kisses" (she basically just puts her open mouth on your cheek if you ask for a kiss), she's pulling up!

(jazz hands not included)

She's still learning and has only done while climbing on me, but she likes to push up from holding on to my arms.  She locks legs and pulls up, so basically she'd probably fall if she did on something that couldn't make sure she didn't lose her grasp.  She can stand though for pretty long periods, like well over a minute or two.  I always stay close by so she doesn't bonk her head on the way down.  She's still not crawling, but getting closer to army crawling.  At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if she goes to cruising instead of crawling, and since crawling isn't a major milestone (for doctors) I'm not too worried.

    1. It's from Old Navy :) The house will be a bit of a headache at first in terms of watching our savings drop, but it's a great house and we can't wait to make it our own!

    1. Thanks Jenna, I was just about to comment on your post! It's the funnel neck pullover at GAP. I've been living in it (because I also wear my clothes to bed/pjs during the day) ;)

    1. Well it's a guess, she was 17lb 5 oz at her 6 month check up, so I'm assuming she's gained at least that much. I did recently go back a snap on her CDs, so maybe she's growing some in height (I hope, she's sooo short!) I think her weight is in the 60ish% and her height is like 15% :P
