[Wednesday's Weekly Check-In] Week 31

(this post was drafted last Wednesday before my computer bit it, but we are back in action now - enjoy!)

Weight: 18+

Health:
Mostly good.  Saturday night about an hour after I put her to bed, I heard the scariest sound on the monitor, like a gurgle or choking.  I ran in picked her up and she projectile vomited.  I got her in the bathroom (easy to clean tile floor) and she had 4 more spells. She wasn't crying and didn't have a fever, so I just kept her with us and was fine the rest of the night.  Thank goodness!   I felt so bad for her and was so freaked by that noise!

Sleep:
Getting on a pretty good pattern.  Goes down at 7pm, either she wakes or I just dream feed her at 11pm, wakes again around 3-4 and then up around 6-6:30am for the day.  Naps are another story, but it's been hard to be consistent with the house hunting.

Clothes:
6-12.

Social:
Getting lots of time with Nana, nana is our realtor!  We also visited Daddy at work and got to see his coworkers.

Diet:
Added pears and carrots this week.  Tried pumpkin last night, but I think it was a little too thick.  She usually is okay with texture, but I think it got stuck on the back of her tongue and she gagged it up.  So I swapped over to peas.  She also is not a fan of banana.

Crying:
Mainly when overtired.

Milestones:
When she cries she's been known to go "Maaaa Maaaa", well Tuesday night while getting ready for bed she was straight up babbling "Mamamamamama"  I know she isn't calling me Mama, but it's a start, and she's using more consonants (W, L, M, B)

  1. She is just too cute for words! Such a cutie pie :) and I can imagine how scary the choking/vomit was! Sometimes Kinsley makes choking noises in her sleep and it terrifies me!!

    1. Thank you! And yes, she hasn't really choked much since she was Kinsley's age... she used to choke from nursing too fast, so it really freaked me. Glad it was over fast!

  5. Try adding cinnamon to the pumpkin! My little man gobbles it up when I add that to it.

  6. Vomiting babies are so freaking scary! And so are vomiting toddlers, for that matter.

Obsessed with her sweater dress. I would like to make a request that you post where each outfit is from on her weekly posts. Little fashionista!

    1. Vomiting and adults! Haha... glad it was over fast. The reason I never post is because a lot of the stuff isn't "in season". Like this week (32) she's finally wearing that baby gap sweatshirt coat that CC has.. it's just been too big, but we but it in like July or August. I'll do a post though!

  7. She's such a cutie. I love the light in your photos. I'm trying to get better like you the wonderful photographer! I think I need to take photos when more light is available... but that isn't always the easist.

I agree - post where you get her outfits!

Max had a projectile vomiting episode one evening when he was about 4 or 5 months - scared us so bad (wouldn't keep anything down, wouldn't stop) that we ended up in the ER that night. For a long time. Turns out it was just viral - had to run it's course.

    1. If ou haven't noticed, I really only take pics when she's playing in her room. I never take my camera with me or out when we are out and about, maybe when she's able to walk it'll be different, but I doubt it!
