Oh, so romant-- er, productive!

Instead of spending our weekend eating chocolates, tasting wines, and being all lovey dovey valentines, we got our booties in gear and got. it. done. To-do list style.

In the blur of the weekend we managed to have dinner with my dad and stepmom, order our chair for the nursery, watch a movie, go to dinner with friends, Husband went to the gym, I attended a Baby Shower, made a return and picked up a few items at ikea, Husband worked from home, I hemmed and hung the new curtains for the living room, Husband volunteered at the animal rescue, and we watched the Grammys.

Not in that order.  Whew.

The most exciting news is that chair should be in about 4-6 weeks.  I was afraid it was going to be a lot longer, so that's pretty exciting. I also found out last week, that the custom ordered curtains will be here in early March.

Since I don't have pictures of our purchases yet, I'll leave you with a little 6 week bump comparison.  I'll post my Month 6 Bump pictures in 2 weeks.    I feel like I really blew up in the last week.  I was wearing the same top yesterday as I did in my 20 Week photo, so I thought I'd snap a pic for a side by side shot.  I have my Glucose Tolerance Test tomorrow - fingers crossed we pass!

...in other news, looks like it time to retire the Wreathen Blouse.

  2. Awww I still think you're rocking the blouse just fine! Such a cute little bump! :)

I can't wait to hear what chair you got...and custom drapes? I want to know more! I think we've "almost" narrowed down our crib choice...I'll run it by you to see what you think! xo

  4. I agree 1000% with Veronika- you are seriously one of the cutest pregnant girls EVER. I fear that if I was ever pregnant, I'd balloon up like a bloated roly-poly beachball. So excited for you and your husband!

  5. Ok, you girls are all making me feel really warm and fuzzy. I was definitely having a odd day of body image issues (I love that I'm growing and my belly is getting bigger, but it's so strange and bit depressing at the same time to accept it!) I am curious to see how I continue to grow, still have a good 3 months, oh boy (or girl!)

    :)

  6. Once again, you are adorable. Looking so great and hopefully feeling so, too! I hope your glucose test goes well...not pleasant, it isn't, but at least it's over fast! I made my hubby go with me to pass the time (I had to do a 2-hour test). :)

  7. You look absolutely fantastic!!! Good luck on the the glucose test. Don't worry if you don't pass the first time; I didn't the first but then passed the follow up with flying colors!!

  8. The glucose test was easier than I thought. Apparently chugging shots in my past was good for *something*. We're lucky because the glucose is thinner and tastes better these days than in the past, or so I've been told. Congratulations on your girl!!! Aww...
