Like all recent good things, this recipe was found (where else) on Pinterest. As soon as I saw it, I knew it'd be perfect for our friend's annual 4th of July weekend BBQ. I didn't get to take any pics, so these are from the recipe site here.
It was a huge hit and I'll definitely be making it again (maybe just halving the recipe so we can enjoy it ourselves at home).
It was a huge hit and I'll definitely be making it again (maybe just halving the recipe so we can enjoy it ourselves at home).
Ingredients:
2(8oz) packages of cream cheese (softened) - I used the 1/3 less fat versions
1C Mayo
1C Mexican Shredded cheese
1/2C grated Parmesan
1(4oz) can of green chilies (found next to the taco shells and salsa in the grocery store)
4oz sliced jalapenos (canned or fresh) - I used fresh
1C Panko breadcrumbs
1/2C grated Parmesan
1/4C butter, melted (1/2 stick)
Directions:
Mix first 6 ingredients together in bowl with electric mixer (can use a food processor) until well blended. Spread mixture into greased pie pan or 2 qt baking dish.
In bowl, mix Panko breadcrumbs, parmesan, and melted butter and sprinkle over top of dip evenly.
Bake at 375 for 20minutes or until panko topping is a golden brown.
Dig in and ENJOY!
Hope you are all having a fun and safe weekend!
Look delish!!! Hungry for some good food now! Yum yum!
