Fruits of my Labor

My tomatoes are thriving!

And so are the actual plants... they are now taking over the left side of the deck!

These pics are actually from July 15!  We've had plenty more since then, including some good ol' yellow cherry tomatoes (so cute)... I figured since I'm not going to snap photos after every time I pick off some veggie goodness I'll just show my first haul....

Anyone else enjoying homegrown veggies??

  2. These tomatoes look delicious! We're eating lettuce, herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. My mom has a great veggie garden!

  3. We got one itty bitty tomato. I have a black thumb but I like to blame our lack of tomatoes on the drought we are in right now :). I'm jealous!

  4. This is awesome! The SE heat and my back deck's most-of-the-day direct sun pretty much kills almost everything, I was so discouraged by our burnt up little plants that I didn't try again this year. I have some indoor potted basil and lavender, but they don't look so thrilled about being indoors!

  10. Lucky girl! My husband had his tosnils out earlier this month and I was so tied up with taking car of him and the kids that my lone tomato plant outside dried up :( I am usually good at watering it, we have gotten about 2 days of rain the entire month of July and it has been hot! I'm bummed but that just means now I get to take trips to the local farmers garden. Your tomatoes look wonderful!!!
