On top of that, grey is the new nude... well nude is still nude, but it's THEE neutral. Like it's trendy counterpart of season's past, it looks great with almost any ensemble....
So the search is on... for a classic day to night grey suede pump!

Haven't gotten a pair yet. I have been eyeing the pair from Land's End Canvas and Banana Republic but LE has the better price! Especially since they can only be worn in certain weather. I love gray soo much! I even bought gray Uggs last year. Come to think of it, I just ordered a trench in khaki, but maybe I should've gotten the gray instead....hmmmmm ;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had a blog! I love it. You've got a great eye for things. I'm now following you.
ReplyDeleteI need a new pair of gray shoes, so I'll definitely look over this list.
my heart is pitter pattering at those ruffled pumps! they remind me of the suede ruffle sandals I got from Forever 21. those are my fave, by far!
ReplyDeleteI'm already covered, I bought a pair of grey suede shoes years ago that have been neglected.
ReplyDeleteAll of these are fabulous picks. I like a chunky heel so those J Crew and J Jill shoes are my cup of tea.
Which one are you leaning towards getting?
The Miu Mius immediately caught my eye, but the Dolce Vita ones are just as good and the price is so right!
ReplyDeleteNicole - I'm impressed with LEC! and a don't fret about the trench, nothing is more classic than a khaki trench coat...
ReplyDeleteTien!! Thank you... and you have some fabulous shoes, so I'm sure you'll find the perfect vintage inspired pair :) Also, after some minor investigating, it appears I must have dragged you (well not you physically, but your blog) from my "blogs I'm following" via blogger, to my subscriptions in google reader... odd, looks like I need to re-follow, not in my dashboard...
Mandee - The ruffle is the perfect amount.. its big, but not like obnoxious. They'd be cute with a skirt or dress...
Fshonmymind - I have a pair of tan suede pumps with a chunky heel from like 5 yrs ago too! Glad I held on to them... I snagged the BR heels. With my rewards and the 25% I couldnt pass it up!
Anh - Of course you would love the mui mui ;) And I totally think you should get them so you can take their pretty little portait.. mm hmm.
i am really loving your choices...and now i feel I need gray pumps!

They also have it in a pump version tough.
I am so into grey heels this year! Must buy soon...
ReplyDeleteI have never owned suede shoes before, how do they wear? I am a bit hesitant because I think they'll show every little speck of anything.
V - I'm sure you'll find a great pair for a great deal... you seem to always find the greatest bargains :)
ReplyDeleteAmber - I DO THAT TOO!! I can't tell you how many times I leave post then never verify...
I love those heels, so cute and so on trend...
Andi - I feel like as long as you spray the suede to protect it (I use my the same spray as my Uggs) and don't wear them in either snow or a down pour they should be good. I wore my BR wedges (the heel portion is tan suede) to an outdoor wedding the day after a noreaster... ground was still kinda wet, but they were fine...
I love that first pair!
ReplyDeleteMary Ann - the scallop cut is definitely a nice twist... sexy too!
ReplyDeletethey are on my wish list for sure!!
ReplyDeletelove your blog!
