Painting the town Grey... or, Blue

As I alluded to in my Painting Playlist post, we finally got around to painting our Master Bedroom. I've also mentioned how after our bathroom remodel our bedroom (which was never really fully 'decorated' to begin with) was really feeling the decorating blahs....

We decided to go a shade lighter than our bathroom mainly because we didn't want to bedding to match the walls.  The bathroom is SW Argos, so we settled with SW Passive.  A light grey with blue undertones... well, actually, A LOT of blue undertones once that sucker gets on the wall... it's more like blue with grey... but seriously, it beats the old color of "makeup" so we still win....

We still need to do the wall behind our bed and probably won't get the chance until next weekend... (moving the bed is a major pain in the arse).... We also need to paint the trim, baseboards, and doors.  Right now they are this terrible off-white color that basically just looks dirty.  We will be sassing it up with true white so it 'pops' against the grey blue... blue grey?

Anywho... here's some before and during shots... clearly the "after" will come after we actually finish, hello?

Old meets new... and yeah, beat it old.. you're ugly.

Yup.. I avoided pictures of the unmade bed... I was washing the sheets and duvet... it's kinda a weekly thing- especially when the little Peanut girl has an eye infection and snots all over your duvet... this might be why people don't sleep with their dogs....

Finally got to hang my vintage-esque OBrien and Schridde Fleur frame from South Moon Under... but now we REALLY need to get a replacement picture so that creeper child can stop giving me nightmares....

Now that the room is almost painted I can finally go ahead with getting some curtains and other accessories... I feel a "Challenge" coming on.... stay tuned!
