First up in this month long edition, we have Chocolate Chip Eggnog Balls. Not only are these little treats super tasty, I love the added variety they give a gifted tin of cookies.
And yes, even though I just publicly outed my inner Martha due to my love for baking, my first installment will be a "no-bake" recipe.
Ingredients
2 3oz packages cream cheese, softened
4 C powdered sugar
1 Tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp brandy extract
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/2 C miniature chocolate chips
1 1/4 C finely chopped pecans
Preparation
- Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, brandy extract, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Beat until creamy.
- Stir in miniature chocolate chips
- Drop by rounded tsp onto cookie sheet
- Refrigerate for 5 minutes or until chilled
- Roll into balls and coat with nuts
- Keep refrigerated and enjoy!
