I actually don't own a green scarf - yet, but I am creating quite the collection of scarves that is beginning to rival my hoard of headbands. It was especially brisk this morning in the Philly Suburbs, so I googled for some new patterns, fabrics, and styles of scarves that may make my "Wishlist" in the near future. A girl's got to stay warm in these upcoming chilly months...
Extremely pricy, but I love how "soft" this scarf looks... not to mention the light neutrals, it'd look great with almost any coat or outfit.

I love this AE infinity scarf, it even comes in a bold red, which would be great for holidays.

This one reminds me of back in the day, truckin through dirty snow slush to class during college - as if it should be paired with thee ol' college uniform of dark wash jeans, Uggs, and a North Face jacket to keep you super warm and toasty...

Purple and houndstooth - yes, please!
Merona® Tubular Microfiber Scarf - Purple Houndstooth : Target

Lastly, for good measure... a green scarf. Again, on the pricier side for an accessory, but the minty color will add a nice pop of color to winter grays and blacks, and it will transition well into spring.

Love the scarfs! I'm in Florida, so I only own one.

I am also obsessed with scarves this season. I got some cute (and cheap) knit ones from Old Navy in basic black and red, along with a funky printed grey one. I love to wear them with fun earrings!
ReplyDeleteas for the reference... my current book possibly? The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson!
Dude, I love scarves. I wear them all the freaking time. Good post!
ReplyDeleteMandee - way off with the reference, but Tara got it! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd KO, I swear, if I'm not wearing a headband or necklace I'm wearing a scarf. I got this awesome navy and gold (my alma mater colors) plaid one from the Gap a few months ago. I think it may have been a "guy's" but it was in the Women's section. It's so long and comfy, I'm in it 24/7...
