Hawaiian Honeymoon Adventure: Travel Day

After the greatest day of our lives, we left to embark on the greatest two weeks in paradise.

Here's us embarking on our journey across the country (and Pacific)... erm more like Pete being annoyed about my early am picture harrassing...

Obligatory Ring Shot:

We flew direct from Newark, NJ to Honolulu (Oahu), HI - a 10 hour flight. It was actually a pretty easy flight, we read, watched Star Trek (which I really liked), and slept a little too. The biggest hassle was arriving in Honolulu and having to get our baggage from our Continental flight and recheck-in for our Hawaiian Airlines flight to Lihue, Kauai.

Here's "Captain" Connolly awaiting for the baggage (round 1)

Tired, but happy Newlyweds :)

After flying to the Garden Isle, we -again- got our baggage and got our rental car and made our way to the condo. It was about 10pm Hawaiian Time (4am EDT) and our condo owners had a bottle of champagne waiting in the fridge :) After enjoying a glass, we crashed for the night - but just for a bit. Damn Eastern Time Zone internal clock...
